Now, the Tipperary natives’ podcast is the newest addition to the Spotify Exclusives club, which is also home to the award-winning show The Joe Rogan Experience.

A must-listen for comedy fans, the pair host their weekly hour-long episodes in their very own studio and have previously welcomed exciting guests such as Tommy Tiernan and Rozanna Purcell.

Speaking about their new venture, the comedians said: “172 weeks ago we rang the one fella we knew who knew about podcasts and asked him how to upload it.

“We wanted to a podcast for the man in the van, the girl making the chicken roll, the lad on his way home from a few pints, now we are gonna bring it to the whole world and we can’t wait.

“Here is to the future. Thanks to everyone who supported us, we are gonna drive it on for ye.”

James Cator, Head of Studios at Spotify UK and Ireland, added: “There’s so much great talent coming out of Ireland and we’re massive fans of Johnny and Johnny: what they’ve achieved in such a short space of time as the fastest-growing Irish podcast is pretty inspiring!
