Niall Horan is officially Ireland’s richest star under 30.

The former One Direction singer came fourth in the heat 30 under 30 rich list for 2021 just behind British superstars Ed Sheeran, former band mate Harry Styles and fellow X-Factor supergroup Little Mix.

With earnings of £57.5m (€67.5m) landing him near the top of the rankings, most of Niall’s wealth comes from his days in One Direction, but he has also bagged earnings through his solo career with albums and tours.

The Mullingar singer has a £5m (€5.9m) penthouse, and a £1.25m (€1.5m) home in London.

As well as this, the 28-year-old owns a £2.9m (€3.5m) Hollywood mansion for his time spent in L.A. He has also invested in athleisure brand Gym + Coffee as well as his own golf management firm Modest! Golf.

Niall’s close pal and fellow musician Ed Sheeran topped the list one again as the richest star under 30 with a whopping £236.5m (€278m) in the bank.

Ten years after releasing his first single, the star has the most-streamed single of all time with Shape of You, as well as the highest grossing tour of all time after generating £567m on his Divide tour.

With a new album, a stadium tour and a new deal with TikTok the 30-year-old is only set to become richer – however he will not be included in next year’s list as he will no longer qualify when he turns 31.

Harry Styles has retained his number two spot on the list with an amassed wealth of £80m (€94m). Since One Direction split, the singer has doubled his wealth thanks to his successful solo career, acting, and modelling roles.

The 27-year-old has also made savvy investments including a new music arena in Manchester, England.

In third place on the list is Little Mix with an accrued wealth of £66.7m (€78.3m).

Since winning X Factor in 2011 the girl group, which consists of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, have sold more than 60m records.

Despite Jesy Nelson leaving the band, and not touring due to Covid restrictions, the group have had a lucrative year with their new album Confetti and their BBC Talent Show Little Mix: The Search. They have also lent their name to everything from perfume, kids clothes and Instagram deals.

Rounding off the top five is 29-year-old model Cara Delevigne with £52m (€61.1m). Deals with Burberry, DKNY and Dior saw her company turn over huge profits of £9.6m (€11.2m).

In joint sixth place with a whopping £47m (€55.2m) each One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, meanwhile Zayn Malik lands in ninth place with £38m (€44.6m).

Saoirse Ronan is the only other Irish face to feature on the list of Irish and UK stars coming in 27 th with wealth of £5.9m (€6.9m).

Unsurprisingly, billionaire Kylie Jenner is the wealthiest star aged 30 or under outside the UK and Ireland. The 24-year-old has amassed a wealth of £773m (€908.6m) thanks to her beauty and skincare brands.

Now in its eleventh year running, the heat Rich List delves into the bank accounts of Britain’s youngest and richest stars to see where they make their money, and how much they make.
