Ryan Tubridy paid a visit to the Disenchanted set in Enniskerry this afternoon.

The highly anticipated sequel to the hit 2007 film Enchanted is being filmed in Ireland this summer, and the town of Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow has been transformed into a Disney wonderland for production.

Visitors have been swarming to the village to catch a glimpse of the set, and the Late Late Show host couldn’t resist checking it out for himself.

Taking to his Instagram stories today, the RTÉ star shared a photo of himself standing in front of some shop fronts that have been given Disney-esque names such as ‘Painting, Painting on the Wall’ and ‘Beauty and the Books.’

He captioned the post: “Took a snoop at the beautiful village of Enniskerry which has been transformed into the set of Disenchanted…”

Ryan also admitted he was a big fan of the original movie and tagged its stars, Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams.

“I loved Enchanted so this should be good. The village looks amazing,” he added.

As well as Enniskerry, Disenchanted will be shooting in a number of Irish locations including Greystones and Dublin city over the summer. Some scenes were also shot in Dundalk, Co. Louth last month.

Indoor scenes will be filmed at the RDS in Dublin, where builders have created giant structures in preparation.

Disenchanted will see Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey reprise their roles as Princess Giselle and divorce attorney Robert.

Also returning to our screens are Idina Menzel as Nancy Tremaine and James Marsden as the lovable Prince Edward.

Joining the fun are new cast members Maya Rudolph – who is billed to play the film’s villain – as well as Jayma Mays, Yvette Nicole Brown, Kolton Stewart, and Oscar Nunez.
