The 37-year-old is expecting her second child with husband Roy Horgan.
Taking to social media, the RTE presenter posed in her underwear in a snap which she captioned with: “BIG week. Big bump.”
In October, Angela shocked fans by revealing she was pregnant for a second time. She had kept much of the pregnancy under wraps but shared her news along with her growing baby bump.
“SO, this is happening!! I’m pregnant and apparently already prepping for actual labour,” she said.
“Baby Horgan The Second (official title) arrives next spring. Feeling very lucky and excited & also nervous about jumping on a trampoline (forever).”
She previously revealed that she plans to give birth at home.
Speaking to Amy Huberman on her Mamia and Me podcast, Angela revealed that she was “quite scared” when she had her first child in a hospital and said that she’s decided to change things up this time around by giving birth from the comforts of her own home.
“I'm hoping to do a home birth. I feel really excited. Apparently, somebody brings a bath. I haven't nailed down the details as of yet and Roy is a little worried about it.”
“I just think I'll be in my own bath, which is literally my happy place. Roy keeps saying, ‘And where's Ruby going to be?’ and I was thinking maybe she'd like to be a part of the birthing process, and he was like, ‘Are you kidding?’”
“So, yeah it might be a little frightening for her.”
Angela explained that she didn’t have a great experience giving birth in a hospital.
“So, I did it with a midwife last time but when I went to the hospital everything slowed down.”
“I didn't realise that I'm quite scared of hospitals for whatever reason. I've never spent very much time in hospitals so maybe that's why, or maybe I remember it from being a baby,” she said.
“Last time, I was eight centimetres by the time I reached the hospital. I was in complete denial. She was due on the 28th of February and was born on the 25th of February.”
“But, in my mind, I was convinced that she was going to be born on the 14th of March for no reason at all. So, I hadn't packed my hospital bag.”
“There's so much focus on the birth and the labour, and then you think ‘Oh nobody really told me there's going to be a baby at the end of this.’”
“Everything looked so medical, which was quite a scary thing. So, if I'm at home it'll be more chilled.”
Angela recently wound up the first series of her new RTE One show Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything where she was joined by celebrity guests such as Vogue Williams, Gemma Collins and PJ Gallagher.
