RTE have said that they’ve yet to make a decision about whether Glow Up Ireland, presented by Maura Higgins, will return to TV this year.

However, they have not ruled the show out of their upcoming schedule either.

“Glow Up Ireland was part of our Autumn line up last year so it's too early to talk about Autumn programming for 2022,” a spokesperson for RTE told sundayworld.com.

The show followed ten of Ireland's best make-up artists as they were tasked with creating make-up transformations.

Glen Edward McGuinness won the show and was crowned Ireland's Next Make-Up Star. He won a full professional make-up kit, along with €5,000 to help further his career.

The show had an audience of 76,600 for the first episode aired but dropped to 57,500 viewers by the third week.
