Pippa O’Connor has said that it “feels like a big relief” to have received her second dose of the Covid vaccine.

The 36-year-old, who is pregnant with her third child, got her second jab on Sunday evening.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she told her followers that she wasn’t feeling too well on Monday and suffered from some flu-like symptoms but has since recovered.

The fashion and beauty blogger said: “I’m looking and sounding not the Mae West. Well, the sound of me is because of the hay fever so that’s nothing new.

“Yesterday I wasn’t 100 percent after my second vaccine dose, which I got on Sunday evening. I woke yesterday morning and just wasn’t 100 percent.

“It was exactly what I was told could happen. Like flu-like symptoms, headache, kind of a few aches and pains but it only lasted until last night.

“I got through that with just rest and water and now I’m just back to hay fever. So, I’m just joyous these last couple of days.”

Pippa added that she feels relieved now that she’s fully vaccinated, especially because most of her friends and family have also received theirs.

“It just feels like a big relief now. I’m so glad I’ve had it done and it’s all over with, done and dusted. And to see most of my friends are done, all my family are done, my husband, it just feels like a relief,” she said.

The mum-of-two recently announced that she was expecting her third child with husband Brian Ormond after suffering a miscarriage last year.

The couple recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary with a gorgeous vow renewal ceremony at Limerick’s Adare Manor.

They are already parents to sons Ollie (8) and Louis (5).
