Niall Horan 'humbled' by fan's mother in hilarious TikTok clip

Niall Horan
A TikTok clip of Niall Horan having a hilarious encounter with a fan’s mother is blowing up online.
The former One Direction star was sitting outside a restaurant when a young fan walked past the eatery with her mum and thought she spotted him.
However, she was too scared to approach the Mullingar native and “dared” her unsuspecting mother to do so instead.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 3.5 million times, the fan’s mother tells Niall: “My daughter, my teenage daughter, thinks you’re some pop star."
The 28-year-old was clearly amused by her remark, laughing as he replied: “Yes, some pop star! My name is Niall.”
“You are Niall! Oh my god! Can she take a selfie? Is that okay? She actually dared me to do this. I’m very sorry,” the fan’s mother exclaimed before the singer jokily shushed her to avoid drawing attention.
Niall agrees to take a photo with his fan and asks her mum to bring her over to him.
The mortified mum then rushes to grab her starstruck daughter, saying “Hang on, one second!” before running towards her daughter shouting “It’s him!”
In the comments section, some people felt that Niall had a bad “attitude” in the clip, with one person saying: “Someone got up on the wrong side of bed.”
Another wrote: “Not the attitude, mans needs to be humbeled [sic]”
However, others quickly defended Niall, insisting that his “abrupt” tone was merely just Irish sarcasm.
