Missy Keating pays Instagram tribute to 'hero' dad Ronan on his 45th birthday

Taking to Instagram, the former Dancing With The Stars contestant shared a series of pictures and videos of her beloved father.

“Happy birthday to my literal hero @rokeating,” the post began.

“Thank you for being you & making me who I am today. You inspire me every day... from your hard non-stop work ethic to your kind, generous heart.”

“You’re my rock, I don't know where I'd be without you,” she said.

“Love you endlessly dad.

“Ps I think you were about my age in the first pic LOL.... your first selfie??”

In the post she shared a snap of a picture taken by a young Ronan using a disposable camera.

Another video showed the Boyzone singer dancing while wearing a Mexican sombrero and fake moustache.

She also shared a heart-warming selfie of herself and her father, another of him blowing out candles on a birthday cake and another of Missy posing with her father and his wife Storm.

An additional picture showed Ronan posing with his youngest children Cooper (4) and Coco (1).

Wife Storm also shared a tribute to her husband for his birthday in which she called him the "funniest, kindest, most generous and genuine man alive."

"This day 45 years ago, Marie and Gerry created the best human being ever," her tribute began.

"The kids worship you, I adore you and your friends love you.

"Plus you're the hardest worker ever and will go the extra mile to support your family.

"You deserve everything you’ve built and created. We all appreciate and love you so much!

"Thank you for making my heart so full and Cooper asked me to add 'Hello daddy I love you and please don’t forget to give me a big cuddle and a big kiss when you get home. Loves and kisses from Thor & Cooper'."

The Keatings recently celebrated Missy's 21st at a lavish bash in House on Leeson Street.

Ronan and his wife Storm (40) flew into Ireland for the occasion.

Missy’s mother Yvonne, who is Ronan’s ex-wife, was also at the party.

Yvonne and Ronan are parents to Missy and her two siblings Jack (22) and Ali (16).

Their romance ended after 12 years of marriage in 2010 after Ronan had a seven month affair with Boyzone back-up dancer Francine Cornell.

Connolly uncovered the affair through phone records and met with Cornell to get the truth about Ronan’s betrayal.

Yvonne and Ronan’s divorce was finalised in March 2015.

The singer met his second wife Storm in 2011 and the pair tied the knot in 2015. They welcomed their first child together in 2017.
