Maura Higgins broke down in tears when best pal Molly-Mae Hague passed her driving test.

The 21-year-old influencer sat her driving test for the second time earlier this week and brought her Love Island co-star along with her for support.

In her latest YouTube video, Molly-Mae documented the moment she told her family and boyfriend Tommy Fury the good news and revealed that Maura actually burst into tears when she found out that her best friend had passed.

Holding up her test results, Molly-Mae beamed: “My test is now over and I can actually say that I passed! I passed my driving test. I literally cannot believe it.”

Speaking of Maura’s reaction, she added: “She’s not in shock because she had faith in me.”

“But I still cried for some reason!” Maura laughed.

“This is a best friend’s reaction right here honestly. Tears, tears because your best mate passed her driving test,” Molly-Mae said as she filmed Longford lass Maura putting her sunglasses on to hide her tears of joy.

Maura (30) confessed that she thought her bestie had failed at first, saying: “Don’t look at me! Do you know what happened? I pulled in here beside it and I was like, ‘She’d be done now’ and then I spotted the car and was like, ‘Oh God…’

“And then you got out of the car and I seen your instructor – the lesson lady – and all I could see was you from behind... and I was going, ‘Oh no, oh no.’

“Then whatever way your face turned I could see you were smiling and I was like, ‘Surely she wouldn’t be smiling, she’d be crying if she failed.’”

“I would have been crying, yeah,” Molly-Mae agreed.

The best friends have been spending lots of time together following the Irish beauty’s split from Christopher Taylor earlier this month, with Maura reportedly using Molly-Mae's Cheshire home as a “crash pad” while she recovers from the breakup.
