Maura Higgins has sparked more romance rumours with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice after the pair both shared photos from Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Both the Love Island star and the Italian dancer posted photos to their Instagram accounts from their seats at the Euros 2020 game, which saw Italy emerge victorious over Austria.

On her Instagram stories, Maura filmed a panoramic shot of the stadium and tagged the location.

Meanwhile, Giovanni uploaded a shot of him standing in a pink blazer with the caption: “#EnjoyTheRivalry #SupportResponsibly #StarOfTheMatch #Heineken #Euro2020.”

However, the pair raised some eyebrows when it became apparent that their videos were filmed from similar spots in the stadium.

Earlier this month, the Longford native and Giovanni set fans into a frenzy when they were allegedly staying at the same hotel in Cornwall.

The rumoured couple are said to have stayed at the three-star clifftop hotel The Polurrian on the Lizard.

Maura’s football date comes after the 30-year-old was announced as the host of Glow Up: Ireland’s Next Make-Up Star, a beauty competition show that will air on RTÉ 2 this autumn.

The competitive factual entertainment series will involve ten of Ireland’s best amateur make-up artists (MUAs) who will each compete to be crowned Ireland’s Next Make-Up Star and win a once in a lifetime opportunity to boost their professional career.

Speaking about her exciting new opportunity and first-ever presenting gig, Maura said: “I’m so excited to be the presenter of the first ever Glow Up Ireland.

“Having watched the last few series of the show in the UK this is such an amazing opportunity and the fact that this is my first presenting job and it's in Ireland is so overwhelming.

“It’s such a pinch me moment to be doing this back in my home country. I actually can’t believe it.

“Obviously we’re expecting a very high standard of Irish talent to come forward. Applications are now open so get in touch to be in with a chance of landing one of the top ten coveted spots on the show.”
