A first glance at Liam Neeson in the upcoming action thriller The Ice Road had been released.
The Netflix film focuses on an ice road trucker's rescue mission to save some trapped miners and is set to be released on June 25th.
The Ice Road won’t be getting a traditional cinema release as the streaming service reportedly bought the rights to the film for €15 million.
Neeson is no stranger to action movies, having starred in almost 20 films in the genre since appearing in Taken back in 2008.

The Ballymena native previously said that he would be retiring from the genre soon, but told Entertainment Tonight that he still had a few more films left in him.
In an interview, he said: “I’m 68 and a half. 69 this year. There’s a couple more I’m going to do this year… hopefully, Covid allowing us. There’s a couple in the pipeline and I think that will probably be it.
He laughed that his career will be over pretty soon unless he starts fighting bad guys in a “zimmer frame,” before admitting his love for action films.
“I love doing them. I love beating up guys half my age.
“I’ve just finished one in Australia and I had a fight scene with a kid... lovely, sweet actor called Taylor… and halfway through the fight I looked up, I was breathless and it didn’t cost him a cent, and I said, ‘Taylor, what age are you?’
“He said, ‘25’ and I said, ‘That’s the age of my eldest son!”
