Laura Whitmore wished her new husband Iain Stirling a happy birthday with a romantic picture of the couple sharing a kiss on Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge.

The Bray beauty, who is based in London, returned to Dublin to tie the knot with Iain just before Christmas.

Paying tribute to her hubby on his 33rd birthday, Laura posted cute photos of the pair posing on the iconic landmark, adding the caption: ‘Happy Birthday to my best friend (I even tagged you in the picture!)’

Famous friends of the couple shared the moment with heartfelt comments from Imelda May, who wrote: Happy Birthday Ian!!!! Whoop whoop!!!’ alongside a series of balloons emojis while Robbie Keane added: ‘Happy birthday pal.’

Comedian Keith Lemon wrote: ‘Appy lockdown birthday’ while Eamonn Holmes added: ‘Many Happy Returns Ian …. Laura is preparing quite a present for you Daddy’.

The couple are expecting their first child early this year after announcing Laura's pregnancy in December.

The Celebrity Juice star recently shared pictures from her special wedding day after she and Iain wed in an intimate ceremony in Dublin City Hall last month.

The pair got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2019 and kept the details of the big day under wraps.

“A year ago, Iain asked me to marry him and we had the most magical, perfect ceremony,” she wrote on Instagram.

She said that they didn’t discuss their engagement publicly as they “loved having it to ourselves” and had time to plan their wedding.

“We had been planning the perfect celebration and I will forever be so thankful that’s what we got,” she said.
