Jordan Conroy has admitted that he’s sad that Dancing With The Stars is coming to an end tonight.
After 12 weeks, the final of the RTÉ show will take place this evening with Rugby Sevens star Jordan, singer Erica Cody, Paralympian Ellen Keane, and former jockey Nina Carberry all battling it out for the crown.
Jordan said that he feels lucky to have had the most “amazing” experience on Dancing With The Stars but admitted that it’s a bittersweet feeling.
Speaking to James Patrice ahead of tonight’s final, the 28-year-old said that he’s going to miss his fellow finalists and dance partner Salome Chachua.
“It’s been amazing. It’s been so good. These last 12 weeks have been unbelievable, every single week,” he said.
“I’m just glad to be here until the very end and every week just show what I could do so if I win, I win, and if I don’t - we’re all winners in my eyes to be honest.
“Just the experience as a whole was literally the prize for me, that’s the way I look at it. I’m going to look at it that way and make the best memories I can for tonight.
Continuing, he added: “It’s just a bit of reflection on it and looking back on the little things that I’m going to miss about the show. It’s just kind of sad in that way.
“Obviously, I’m going to miss Ellen so much and Salome and everyone else. It’s just the little things that I’m going to cherish.”
Meanwhile, Erica Cody said her castmates have become like “family” to her.

“I’m so sad it’s coming to an end. You just grow so close to everyone,” she said.
“It is a journey, I say it all the time! But it’s a journey and it’s been the most incredible journey that I’ve ever been on and the people I’ve gotten to meet and make friends with, and getting to dance with Denys [Samson] every week – you just don’t know what it’s like until you’re in it.
“I’m going to miss the camaraderie every week,” she added.
