Jedward have revealed that they “serenaded” Hollywood actress Amy Adams when she was filming a movie in Ireland back in 2008.

The Oscar nominee appeared in the 2010 film Leap Year, which was filmed around Dublin, Wicklow, Mayo, and Galway.

Irish pop duo Jedward, whose real names are John and Edward Grimes, have shared that they are big fans of the American actress and even sang for her during her time in Ireland filming the hit comedy.

Taking to Instagram, they said: “@amyadams is in Ireland! Cool story, we sang for Amy when she was filming Leap Year in Dublin back in 2008.

“She was in her robe outside her trailer loving life. Two Irish twins John and Edward serenaded her and had the laughs and chats.

“Always a jepic memory,” they added.

Jedward’s trip down memory lane comes as Amy and her co-star Patrick Dempsey are back in Ireland again to film the highly anticipated sequel to Disney’s Enchanted.

Disenchanted is being filmed on location around the country and locals in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow have watched the town transform into a Disney set over the last few weeks.

Amy announced that she had returned to the Emerald Isle on Instagram and said that she is “very excited” to begin filming.

Speaking to her followers, she said: “I am in Ireland, where I’m getting ready to start filming on the sequel to Enchanted, which I am very excited about.”

Jedward were eager to welcome the famous face back and commented: “Welcome back, love from Jedward.”
