Social media influencer Bonnie Ryan has shared her excitement about becoming an aunt after her sister announced that she is pregant

Bonnie’s older sister and 2fm presenter Lottie announced last week that she is expecting her first child with husband Fabio Aprile.

Lottie’s mum Morah, as well as siblings Rex, Elliot, Bonnie and Babette, are overjoyed for the RTE 2fm presenter.

Bonnie (28), daughter of the late broadcaster Gerry Ryan, asked followers to send her questions that she would respond to on her Instagram yesterday.

‘Will Lottie’s new baba be your first niece/nephew? It’s so exciting! I bet you’re overjoyed,’ asked one user.

Bonnie couldn’t contain her excitement in her video response on Instagram: “Yeah, Lots is the first one in the family to be pregnant and have a baby. It’s so exciting!”

“We do have a gorgeous step-niece though who’s six and she’s just the most fun ever,” added the makeup guru.

Another follower asked how she was feeling about becoming an aunt this summer.

“It’s very exciting. Every week in our family WhatsApp group we’re like: ‘and what size is the baby today?’”

“It’s just crazy especially because it is the first person in the family so it’s all just very new to us.”

Bonnie also beamed with pride as she spoke about her legendary dad Gerry.

“There was a documentary on that was made for my dad’s ten year anniversary and they were replaying it last night and I decided to watch it.

“I’m very lucky that there’s footage like that to look back on and see of my dad. Then again, it’s very weird to see things to do with his funeral. Not many people would be looking back and seeing their parent’s funeral,” she continued.

Bonnie is due to marry her long-term partner John in 2022 after the couple postponed their wedding due to Covid 19.
