
Lockdown album Imelda May says it's 'wonderful to be back' as she reveals new music
Imelda received dozens of messages of support from fans who are eagerly awaiting her new music after the success of her recent single Just One Kiss with Noel Gallagher.
Irish singing star Imelda May has issued a message to fans saying she hopes “your arms are wide open and ready for me” as she prepares to release her new album, ‘11 Past the Hour’.
The Liberties legend took to her Instagram page to say it’s “wonderful to be back (even though I’ve never left) with a new album.
“I’ve really put everything into this in spite of and especially at this weird time,” she wrote.
“I don’t know about you but I need music, art and creativity more than ever so after the year we’ve all had I’ve done everything I can to get this to you now.
I hope your arms are wide open and ready for me.”

We recently revealed how Imelda and Adrian Dunbar will give The Graham Norton Show an Irish flavour next month.
The Northern Irish actor and the Dublin singer will be guests on the BBC One show on March 5.
Dunbar, 62, will be on the couch to talk about the new season of his hugely popular police crime series, Line of Duty.
And he will be alongside Vicky McClure who plays his devoted sidekick in the show, Detective Inspector Kate Fleming.

Now heading for its sixth series the show stars Co Fermanagh man Dunbar as the head of police anti-corruption unit AC-12.
Imelda will provide the music on the Graham Norton Show singing Made to Love.
The 46-year-old first shot to fame as a rockabilly singer but has since changed her image and has been compared to female jazz musicians like Billie Holiday
She has released five bestselling albums, No Turning Back (2003), Love Tattoo (2008), Mayhem (2010), Tribal (2014), and Life Love Flesh Blood (2017).
Other stars appearing on The Graham Norton Show that night include Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley talking about her film, Chaos Walking and Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston discussing his role as a New Orleans judge in the drama Your Honour.
