She apologised for missing recent engagements due to her illness
Former Dragons Den star and business woman Norah Casey has revealed that she is in hospital with long Covid.
Norah, who is also the publisher of Irish women’s magazine Women’s Way, has a long career as a broadcaster.
Taking to social media, the 61-year-old apologised for missing meetings over the last few weeks due to her hospitalisation.
A collective apology to all those I let down suddenly for various engagements over the past week. I am in hospital with long covid - got it only 6 weeks ago so hopefully it will be a short spell of #longcovid #MagsCasey and #SaintJude are on the case so will be home in no time🙏 pic.twitter.com/kQ1RdTNapY

“I am in hospital with long covid - got it only 6 weeks ago so hopefully it will be a short spell of #longcovid #MagsCasey and #SaintJude are on the case so will be home in no time.”
Her followers were quick to share their well wishes.
“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry to read this, Norah. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery. And I imagine that people will understand and need no apology at all … health comes first,” one said.
“The recovery from Covid can be so tough. Take care and I hope you get well soon Norah,” another shared.
“So sorry to read this... mind yourself... hope you are home & feeling much better soon,” added another.
