Erica Cody has said that her fellow Dancing With The Stars finalist Jordan Conroy is like her “long lost brother.”

The singer has grown extremely close with her Ukrainian dance partner Denys Samson over the past few weeks, but revealed that she’s also formed a strong bond with Rugby Sevens star Jordan in an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday.

When asked who she had grown closest to since the series began back in January, Erica shared a photo of the duo having some fun in rehearsals as they posed in matching red puffer jackets and sunglasses.

She said: “We’ve all grown SO close. But obviously @jordan_conroy19…we’ve been in a bubble together since the get go and he’s basically my long lost brother.”

The Dubliner also shared how she “can't wait” to compete in the final on Sunday night against Jordan, Paralympian Ellen Keane, and former jockey Nina Carberry.

Sharing a video with Denys after a long day of dance practice, Erica said: “Denys, are we excited for the final?”

Denys replied: “We’re super excited for the final!”

Erica added: “So excited, we can’t wait! I actually can’t believe we’re even in the final to be honest. I didn’t think we’d make it this far. I’m running out of breath, I’m so excited.”

Denys chimed in with his cúpla focail: “We will be go hálainn!”

Later in the day, Erica said that she was “more excited than nervous” to be competing for the top prize this weekend.

“It’s been 12 weeks of dreaming to get to this point,” she explained.

“I never thought I’d make it this far so to have made it to the very end, I just want to enjoy every minute of it with Denys.”

She told her followers that the winners would be decided by the public and appealed to her followers to send in their votes on the night.

She said: “We’ll need all the votes and support we can get on Sunday if you’d like to see us lift that glitterball!”
