Irish actress Kellie Blaise has landed a part in a major American TV series which stars Will Ferrell and Paul Ruud.

Dubliner Kellie (34) is currently in Los Angeles shooting scenes for The Shrink Next Door, a series about a psychiatrist and his longterm patient.

Kathryn Hahn also stars in the new series.

Kellie did not want to say too much about her new role when contacted.

“I have signed a non disclosure order so I can’t say anything too much,” she told us.

Kellie, whose real name is Linda Kelly and who grew up in Swords Co Dublin, previously starred in American series 50 Ways to Kill Your Lover.

She and Games of Thrones actress Laura Pradelska played real-life lovers Sunny Reese and Karen Kahler.

She also starred opposite Lethal Weapon legend Danny Glover in Death Race: Anarchy.

Kellie may already be familiar to Irish TV viewers from her run on The Voice of Ireland in 2012.

She also starred alongside former boyfriend Emmett Scanlan in Irish movie The O’Briens.

She was the face for former US Vice President Al Gore’s Current TV Network.

Kellie also last year starred in acclaimed Irish film director Robbie Walsh’s Eden, which follows a homeless man, Adam, through one day of his life living on Dublin’s streets.

Her rise to fame began at the age of 14 when she was asked to sing in the Natrona Concert Hall in Dublin.

At the age of 18 she moved to the US, before moving back to this side of the Atlantic to locate in London.

Kellie has been in a long term relationship with Lorenzo Agius, a renowned Italian photographer who has collaborated with various celebrities in his life.
