Dancing With the Stars lovebirds Matthew MacNabb and Laura Nolan have jetted off to America for a romantic getaway together.

The couple recently confirmed their relationship after weeks of dancing together on the RTÉ show.

The pair made it to the semi-finals of the competition before being sent home.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, former Love Island star Matthew revealed that he and Laura are off to do some travelling in the US.

The couple are heading to California first, which is where Matthew lived for two years prior to becoming a reality star last summer, before making their way to Florida for his sister’s wedding.

Sharing an Instagram Story from Dublin Airport, Matthew said “Going back to Cali” as he took a photo of Laura enjoying a mimosa while he held up his coffee.

Matthew shared some photos to Instagram before catching his flight

The 27-year-old then shared his best airport “pro tip” which is taking a Berocca to “top up the immune system” on long distance flights.

It comes after professional dancer Laura admitted that didn’t expect to fall for the Downpatrick native while they were working on Dancing With the Stars together.

“Absolutely not. You come into the show and you’re thinking about the dancing, the partner you’ve been given and how you can improve them,” she explained.

“You’re thinking about week on week, how you can progress and move forward in dancing, that’s your main priority.

“But it just happened that me and Matthew got on so well, so it was pretty natural to be honest.

“I never overthought anything, it wasn’t something I predicted to happen, but it just naturally happened.

“Each week we were just focusing on the next dance and pushing through it.

“In the meantime we just happened to really enjoy each other’s company and get on very well, so it was just very natural,” she added.
