Conor McGregor has posted a picture of his new “Lamborghini yacht” that he says is now ready to set sail.

In a new Facebook post, McGregor has declared “My Lamborghini yacht is ready” alongside a picture of the massive vessel.

McGregor has previously referred to the 63-foot, 4000bhp, dual engine, twin turbo, “rocket ship” that he has called the “Supercar of the Sea” as the best purchase he has ever made.

“I am honoured to secure the Number 12 edition of just 63 to be made,” he revealed on Instagram last year. “1963 being the year Lamborghini first began, and 12 being, well you know Twelve!

“Proper F***King Twelve baby! Ain’t no stopping it! @properwhiskey

"Thank you Giuseppe Constantino and the entire team at “The Italian Sea Group” for your amazing work! Excited to see the finished result during next seasons yachting season.”

When later asked by MMA journalist, Aaron Bronsteter, what was the best purchase he ever made, McGregor said: “I would say my Lamborghini yacht.

“It's currently in Italy at the minute. It's ready for post-fight. I've a bit of work to be done after this bout, across the United States, and then I go to Italy. I'm going to christen my son in Italy with the family and some friends, and then I'm going to pick up my Lamborghini yacht.

“It's some vessel so I'm really excited to get into it and rally it around. I look forward to setting records on it also."

It would appear that McGregor who made over €19.4m from his five-minute clash with Dustin Poirier, could well afford the yacht.

With the fight over in just five minutes it means the Dubliner was paid just under €4million for each minute he was in the Octagon

The Notorious, who Forbes listed as the highest paid athlete in the world this year, is estimated to be worth around €300 million after he and his partners sold their €500 million stake in his whiskey company earlier this year.

McGregor is no longer the majority shareholder of Proper 12 Whiskey but shared the nine-figure sum with his agent Audie Attar and their partner Ken Austin.

Conor was the previous owner of a yacht, The 188, which refers to the amount in euros to social welfare McGregor got, before he became famous.

He gifted the boat to his dad, Tony, who revealed recently that had to be rescued by the RNLI after the luxury yacht wouldn’t start while out at sea.

Tony revealed: “It was a captain’s error. I went out to Dalkey to Pilot View. I dropped an anchor and I had swimmers on board. They were swimming off the 188. So, they were swimming and jumping off the cliffs there for about an hour and a half.

“I dropped the anchor, and I switched the engines off, but I put on the navigation lights and that was the problem. My navigation lights were running the batteries down.”
