Conor McGregor has revealed that he owns a hemp farm in Oregon, which he claims is the best in America.

The Notorious has been spending time in California after breaking his leg in his UFC bout with Dustin Poirier last month.

Sharing a photo of himself smoking a blunt, he responded to a comment on Instagram, saying: "“We've been testing some different strains out. This one is indica dominant, but we've a lot of quality produce in the works for our fans.

"The land around Oregon, and Eugene in particular, is absolutely breathtaking. I've the best hemp farm in the USA. Produces nothing but quality!”

"A few hits of this one to unwind and enjoy the sounds and the surrounds. Works a real treat with my recovery too. Everything in moderation though. God bless."

It is legal to sell hemp products in America and it us used in McGregor's TIDL Sport Plant-Powered Cryotherapy Topical Spray, which he launched earlier this year.

The spray is said to "deliver powerful relief through cryotherapy and novel plant science, leaving athletes feeling refreshed and ready to take their training to the next level".

McGregor caught the attention of fans recently when he posted a video of himself to his Instagram story smoking what he described as a "big blunt".

"A big blunt. Yeah, look at the neck on me! I'm getting jacked," McGregor laughed.

He shared the video with his 8.8 million followers on Twitter, where it has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

Meanwhile, McGregor was set to fight Irish impressionist Al Foran in a wheelchair boxing match in September, but he said next month is too early for a return to any sort of competition.

“Guys, the September date is too early for me. I am still in recovery. My docs/physical therapy team out here advise me to stay.

"I reckon late October at earliest. But maybe November/December too. It is hard to say at this time a concrete date. But I’m in! Wait for me please," McGregor said about the charity fight.
