UFC star Conor McGregor has invited RTE's Ryan Tubridy to interview his dad Tony in his newly-opened Black Forge Inn in Dublin.

The Notorious, who is currently soaking in the LA sunshine with his fiancée Dee Devlin and children Conor Jr, Croia and Rian, sent the message to Tubs as a follow up to an interview the RTE host conducted with his father in 2016.

The Notorious took to Instagram to share a snippet that his dad Tony did on Tubs' RTE Radio show back in 2016.

McGregor captioned the story: "Top man Ryan Tubridy, interview him now in the Black Forge Inn."

The story states: Speaking on Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio, Tony McGregor emphasised the extent of Conor’s generosity and how he has changed their lives forever.

“I drove a taxi around Dublin for 25 years and it was one of the best things I ever done.

“But there was a time when I couldn't afford to run the car,” said Tony.

He told listeners that after his fight in Vegas McGregor sat his family down and told him he was going to look after them.

“He spelled out exactly what he was going to do for us. We walked out of there and we all had BMWs. I'm driving a 5 series BMW the moment, brand spanking new. His mother is also driving one and his sister is driving one.”

Last week, McGregor took time out from mingling with Justin Bieber to praise staff for an "amazing" first day of opening.

The Black Forge Inn shared a picture on its Instagram page of three staff members hailing the "incredible" first day of service. The image was captioned: "What an amazing day here at @theblackforgeinn , we would like to thank all of our old customers for coming back and supporting us as per usual, such amazing loyalty.

"To all the new faces that joined us today we can't wait to see you again and turn you into regulars.

"This is only the beginning for The Black Forge Inn. We have so many world class experiences to bring to Dublin 12.

"To the entire team, well done on an incredible first day of service. Tomorrow we do it all again. Sláinte."

McGregor was quick to share his appreciation for his employees, responding by commending the "excellent work" of the team.

McGregor appears to be enjoying the fruits of his labours in a series of tweets demonstrating his wealth.

In one he poses for a picture with the caption: “This the face you make when you’ve sparked them across three weight divisions and made billions doin' it.”

And in another that shows the size comparison between Titanic and normal modern day cruise ship, he jokes: “My yacht compared to their yacht hahahahahahaj”, a reference to the new Lamborghini yacht he purchased and recently announced was ready to set sail.
