Conor McGregor has raved about his new pal Kylie Minogue after meeting her at the latest Cannes Film Festival event.

The UFC star and his fiancée Dee Devlin swaggered down the red carpet at the Elvis film premiere and after party at the Palais Stéphanie Beach on Wednesday, where they mixed and mingled with an array of famous faces.

Conor arrived at the event suited and booted in a trendy blazer with rhinestone-adorned lapels and pockets paired with slim-fit trousers while Dee took the plunge in a strapless Versace gown with golden buttons and safety pin embellishments.

While at the premiere, the couple crossed paths with Australian singer and actor Kylie Minogue, who was also wearing a Versace dress, which she teamed with René Caovilla heels and a Bulgari diamond necklace.

Kylie sent tongues wagging in her gown, which incorporated a bold, sheer, corseted bodice, and ruffle skirt complete with crystal details.

And McGregor was delighted to meet the Aussie celeb, posing for some photos with her on the red carpet.

He shared a series of snaps with his new friend on his Instagram account, writing: “With the most beautiful, iconic @kylieminogue and @deedevlin1.”

The McGregor clan were seething with jealousy about the encounter, with Conor’s sister Erin writing: “She’s me mas favourite!”

Commenting on the photo, Kylie responded: “Yaaaassss! So nice to see you both!”

And it seems the 53-year-old was equally as thrilled to meet the Notorious and Dee as she also posted some photos of the trio together.

“Awwww! Great to see you @thenotoriousmma @deedevlin1” she wrote, adding a whiskey emoji in honour of McGregor’s Proper No. Twelve alcohol brand.

A host of other celebrities attended the Elvis premiere on Wednesday night, including director Baz Luhrmann and the King of Rock and Roll’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley.

The much-anticipated flick stars Austin Butler as Elvis and Tom Hanks, who plays the musician’s infamous manager Colonel Tom Parker.

The film chronicles the life and career of Elvis from his early days as a child growing up in Mississippi to his ascent as a rock and roll icon and movie star.
