Coleen Nolan has admitted she listened to her son having sex “for four and a half minutes” after he accidentally called her during a night of passion.

As if the incident was not embarrassing enough for Shane Jr, his mum then went on a popular podcast to tell all about the incident.

The Loose Women star revealed how she got a missed call from Shane Jr, who she shares with EastEnders actor Shane Richie.

"He accidentally phoned me and didn't know his phone had gone off," she told Johnny Seifert on the Secure The Insecure.

"It was years and years ago during the night, so my phone just went to voicemail."

When she saw the missed call in the morning, Coleen dialled back thinking something had happened but when she checked her messages she heard certain noises.

She said: "I was thinking, 'What the hell is that?’

"I realised his phone had gone off during... his night of passion.

"And I hope he’s not watching today, but let me say I listened for four and a half minutes.

"Four and a half minutes! I was dead impressed."

As if that wasn’t bad enough the doting mum then “played it for him and his girlfriend” when they next visited.

"I had to embarrass him," she explained.

Poor Shane Jr has been obliged to take to Twitter to defend himself.

He tweeted: "Mum, why oh, why oh, why."

In a separate tweet, he added: "In my defence it was longer than four and a half minutes..."

Coleen is not shy about her own sex life, after revealing intimate details of her stud who she met on dating app Tinder.

The ITV panellist claimed her new boyfriend has "awoken a tiger", as she spoke about their time in the bedroom.

The 56-year-old explained that the pair had been together for three-and-a-half months, and he has already met some of her family members.

She went back on the dating app in May after the relationship with her toyboy lockdown beau had fizzled out.

Of her new beau, she said: "He’s kind, caring, funny, romantic and the sex is great. He’s awoken something in me.

"He’s awoken a tiger, which I didn’t know was there.

“The best thing is that for the first time in my life I know for sure I am with a man because I want to be and not because I feel I need to be.”

Despite not being together for long, Coleen revealed that she's very happy to have met the divorced dad of one.

“I have met someone wonderful and I am really happy – he makes me feel like I am 20 again," she added.

“It has only been three-and-a-half months so it’s really early but we are dating and the kids have all met him and love him."
