Brian McFadden has shared an adorable photo with his newborn daughter in a sweet Father’s Day post.

The former Westlife star welcomed baby Ruby Jean McFadden with his fiancée Danielle Parkinson last month.

And Brian, who also is dad to daughters Molly and Lilly-Sue with ex-wife Kerry Katona, marked the occasion with a lovely snap of Ruby napping on his chest.

Sharing the photo on Twitter, the 41-year-old wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to all my fellow Daddy's (sic) out there. The greatest job in the world.”

He also shared a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing some memories with his own father and his daughters.

Brian captioned the post: “Happy Father’s Day to all the Daddies out there including my own.”

Fans flooded the comments section with well-wishes on the singer’s first Father’s Day as a dad to baby Ruby, with one writing: “Lovely pictures, Happy Father’s Day and first one with Ruby Jean.”

Another commented: “Bravo well said that man. Hope you have a lovely first Father’s Day with the new little one as much as you did with your other gorgeous girls over the years.”

Ruby Jean was born just in time for Father’s Day, arriving at 1:44am on 8th May via emergency C-section and weighing exactly 7lb.

Brian and Danielle welcomed their daughter after suffering two miscarriages before deciding to try IVF treatment, which proved successful.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the new parents shared that their daughter’s name means a lot to them both.

Danielle said: “We went round the houses with a name. We had a long list and then the day before I went into labour we were looking through a baby book and I just said ‘Ruby’, and we both went, ‘Yes!’

“We both really liked it and thought it would transcend from a baby to an elderly lady.

“Jean has quite a lot of meaning to us, as both my grandparents were Jean and a few of Brian’s family.”

Brian added: “My grandad was Jean and my uncle, who died 10 years ago, so we have four family members who have all passed who were called Jean.”
