Bressie has revealed that he was stuck in the middle of the sea during Storm Eunice.

The Mullingar native, whose real name is Niall Breslin, was onboard a ferry across the Irish Sea on Thursday when he was caught in the eye of the storm.

In a video posted on his TikTok account, the singer showed the ferry rocking from side to side as it battled the giant waves created by the stormy conditions.

He recorded himself holding on for dear life as he tried his best not to throw up with ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion playing.

“Storms and ferries are zero craic,” he said. “I’m not meditating myself out of this one.”

In another video, which was accompanied by The Beach Boys’ ‘I Get Around’, the musician wrote “I picked some day to travel to Scotland” as he shared an old video of a boat rocking violently at sea.

“Although I know boat vid was few years ago, wasn’t much better on our ferry,” he added.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the 41-year-old told his followers that his ferry home had been cancelled, leaving him stranded in Scotland.

Sharing a photo of todays’ weather forecast, Bressie wrote “Ahhhh, now I realise why my ferry is cancelled. Off to @CelticFC game perhaps,” before revealing that he was off to explore the shops while he had time to spare.

“Ferry cancelled. No vomit fest today. Stranded…. shopping,” he said.
