Brendan Courtney's hit RTE series Keys To My Life is back with a new celebrity line-up

Brendan Courtney with Anne Doyle who appeared on the last series
Four celebrities will come under the microscope in a new series of RTE’s Keys To My Life.
Musician Sharon Shannon, and singers Linda Martin, Christy Dignam and Mary Coughlan will all be seen being brought back to their childhood homes by presenter Brendan Courtney.
From childhood home to first rented flat and beyond, each property opens another chapter in the celebrity’s’ life story – it also sees them reunited with surprise faces from their past.
Celebrities on last year’s series included former newsreader Anne Doyle, footballer Frank Stapleton, Eurovision star Johnny Logan, Mrs Brown’s Boys Star Rory Cowan, country singer Margo O’Donnell and World Champion Ballroom Dancer and ‘Dancing With The Stars’ judge Loraine Barry.
Brendan Courtney begins each episode, which starts on RTE1 Sunday week, by handing one of these Irish ‘national treasures’ a bunch of keys.
These are the keys to some of the significant homes they’ve lived in. And so begins a journey to unlock the evolution of their personal and professional lives in memory-rich bricks and mortar.
Together Brendan and our celebrity revisit key houses they’ve lived in – and in one of these home places they’re reunited with a person or group of people from that period of their life.
The series that offers a fresh insight into the lives of well-known personalities as each home visited unlocks deeply evocative memories.
Christy Dignam, who recently turned 60, has already been the subject of a fly on the wall show recently with Living With Lucy on Virgin Media One and in the RTE show he will be the focus of his homes in north Dublin, especially the Finglas area.
Sharon Shannon will be visited in the home she grew up in Co Clare, while Linda Martin will revisit her childhood haunts in Belfast.
And Mary Coughlan will be brought on a walk down memory lane in Co Galway.
