The Hollywood star took to Twitter to share a slew of toned up snaps with the caption “Bond who?”
Daniel Craig recently left the highly sought after role playing the famous spy after 15 years following the release of No Time To Die in 2021.
Bond fans and film lovers alike have been desperately trying to guess who might be next in line for the job.
Actors tipped include Idris Elba, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and Henry Cavill.
And now Barry Keoghan has thrown his hat in the ring.
Keoghan would not be the first Irish Bond star, Navan man Pierce Brosnan played 007 from 2005 to 2015.
29-year-old Barry has come a long way in his career from his first TV role in Fair City to playing the infamous cat killer on RTE show Love/Hate.
The Dubliner recently starred as Druig in Marvel’s Eternals and will portray Stanley Merkel in the upcoming Matt Reeves’ film The Batman.
Barry’s Bond snaps are just some of the images the star shared online from a romantic holiday with girlfriend Alyson Sandro.
Taking to Instagram, Barry shared a black and white picture of the pair sharing a kiss under an archway of fairy lights.
“M’lady yer beautiful,” he captioned the snap adding emojis of a love heart and a shamrock.
Taking to his stories, he shared a video of his American beau walking along the beach which he captioned “My beautiful lady.”
Another picture shows the pair smiling together as they enjoy a romantic dinner on a table adorned with roses under fairy lights.
The couple have reportedly been together since February 2021.
They made their red carpet debut last October at the UK premiere of Eternals.
