Barry Keoghan sends fans into overdrive after posting cryptic snap at gender reveal party

The 29-year-old Dubliner shared a picture of himself and his girlfriend Alyson Sandro hugging and smiling at what appears to be a gender reveal party.

Embracing his girlfriend, the pair are surrounded by people as blue confetti falls around them from a popper held in Alyson’s hand.

Behind them is a sign reading: “He or She, what will the baby be?...”

With Alyson wearing a pink dress, boyfriend Barry is wearing a blue shirt to match the theme of the celebrations.

"I don't know why other people have their opinions. We are happy here,” Barry captioned the image on his Instagram Story.

However, the pair have not officially confirmed whether or not they are expecting their first child together.

The image has also led to fan speculation that the couple secretly got engaged while on a romantic holiday in February.

Taking to Instagram at the time, Barry shared a black and white picture of the pair sharing a kiss under an archway of fairy lights.

“M’lady yer beautiful,” he captioned the snap adding emojis of a love heart and a shamrock.

In recent days fans have returned to the image on his social media feed to question whether or not it was a picture to mark their engagement.

“You get married???” one fan asked.

“Can’t wait for your wedding,” another remarked.

“Guys I think [they're] engaged!!!” a third said.

“Congratulations to the future parents. I hope this family is full of love,” another follower added.
