Aoife Walsh has shared some gorgeous photos from her daughter Penelope Rose’s christening.

The christening took place at the Raheen House Hotel in Co. Tipperary on Monday, and former Miss Ireland Aoife took to Instagram to share some highlights from the big day.

The model posted a series of photos where she showed off her stunning €475 white belted dress from Self-Portrait and matching white stilettos from ASOS paired.

And her curled locks were tied up with a white ribbon to complete the look and matched her little girl’s all-white christening attire.

Captioning the post, Aoife wrote: “Penny’s Christening Day. Such a special day with the family”

The 32-year-old also shared a short video that gave her followers a glimpse into the celebrations, showing off the custom cake made for the occasion as well as a closer look at Penelope’s christening gown.

She also included some clips from inside the church during the christening ceremony and made sure her close friends and family featured in the video too.

“Little P’s Big Day. You are so loved my angel xxx,” Aoife said as she dedicated the video to her daughter.

The proud mum announced her pregnancy last year by sharing a photograph of her cradling her bump and showing off her sonogram pics.

She wrote: "A special little secret I’ve been minding these past few months… surprise! I’m expecting a precious little baby in July and feeling so grateful for the journey ahead."

She announced that she had given birth in July and broke the news on Instagram with a sweet black and white snap of herself cradling the newborn, writing: "She's here."

Pals flocked to offer their congratulations to the Tipperary native, including Rosanna Davison who wrote: "Oh Aoife! She’s beautiful. Huge congratulations and hope you’re feeling well too xx".

Bonnie Ryan also sent her well wishes, writing: "Congratulations love."
