A League of Their Own stars 'back on the road' filming latest series in Ireland
Jamie Redknapp and former Manchester United player Patrice Evra are joined by comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Freddie Flintoff on their travels
Former Premier League footballers Jamie Redknapp and Patrice Evra are filming the latest series of their TV show in Ireland.
The sports stars are currently doing a road trip across the country as they film a new series of British comedy programme A League of Their Own.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie and former Manchester United player Patrice are joined by comedian Romesh Ranganathan and cricket legend Freddie Flintoff on their travels.
Taking to Instagram in between filming, Jamie told fans that he was “back on the road” with his pals and posted a photo with Freddie at Dunquin, Co. Kerry before popping into Kruger’s Bar for a pint of Guinness.

The official League of Their Own Instagram page reposted the photo and wrote: “And we’re off... it’s time for another Road Trip!”
The foursome then popped into Limerick’s luxurious Adare Manor, where they enjoyed some “truly incredible” food.
While inside, they received some fancy novelty pints with their faces printed onto the head of their drinks. Romesh, sharing a snap of his personalised pint, joked: “I asked them to make my Guinness sexy.”
Today, Jamie revealed that filming had moved to Portlaoise where the A League of Their Own boys posed like a boyband in front of a tractor.
Kitted out in their best farming gear, the 48-year-old simply captioned the post with their band name - “Ploughzone.”
Another behind the scenes video from their shoot showed Patrice hanging out on a boat with a flock of sheep.
Holding the camera out, he asked: “Why am I on a boat with sheep?” before blowing a whistle.
