Zayn Malik has reportedly joined a dating app for ‘plus size’ people, just three months after he split from Gigi Hadid.

A video of the singer’s profile has leaked online showing the 28-year-old taking part in an ‘emoji challenge’ on the app.

Appearing with a bushy beard, he pulled faces to match the emotions depicted on emojis on screen.

Calling himself ‘Zed’ on the app, his location is Ottaville, Philadelphia.

The site describes itself as “the best online dating app for big beautiful women (BBW), big handsome men (BHM), and all people who love plus size singles.”

He split from Gigi Hadid October after an alleged altercation with her mother Yolanda Hadid.

TMZ reported that Gigi’s mother Yolanda was considering filing a police report against Zayn for striking her during an incident in September.

He later pleaded no contest to claims of harassment after allegedly shoving Yolanda into a dresser and calling her a “Dutch slut”, court records show.

A source told People magazine: “It's been tough on all of them because they're all so close. That's her mom, but it's still her baby's father, even though their romantic relationship is over.”

Court records obtained by the PA news agency allege the Bradford-born star told Yolanda to “stay away from (his) f****** daughter”, as well as calling her a “f****** Dutch slut”.

He is also alleged to have “grabbed and shoved” Yolanda into a dresser, “causing mental anguish and physical pain”.

Malik issued a statement in which he denied striking Yolanda.

“I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

He issued a further comment on social media, saying a family member of Gigi’s had entered their home while she was away.

He said: “This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”

“I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”

Zayn was previously engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

The couple were together from 2011 until their split in 2015.

He has previously been linked to Rebecca Ferguson, Stephanie Davis and Neelam Gill.
