Vogue Williams has spoken out about her “nightmare” experience at Heathrow Airport this week.

The model and TV presenter is currently soaking up the sun in Sotogrande in Spain with her husband Spencer Matthews and their two children, Theodore and Gigi.

And while Vogue is enjoying her family holiday, things got off to a bad start initially as there was a mix-up with the kids’ luggage which resulted in their flight being delayed.

Speaking on the Spencer and Vogue podcast, the 35-year-old explained: “Will we tell everybody the nightmare that started our holiday? Well not a nightmare, obviously in the grand scheme of things it wasn't that bad.

“But it was actually such bad form of the airline. We flew in from Heathrow to Gibraltar. Our aunty was meant to come with us but she was sick, so she wasn't coming.

“She didn’t come to the airport, she didn’t check in, she didn’t come on the plane with us.”

The airport staff accidentally booked their luggage under aunt Gina’s name and took the bags off the plane when they learned that she wasn’t travelling with the couple.

Things quickly went south when the airport staff then lost their luggage – which turned out to be the kids’ pram and bags.

“The plane was delayed an hour,” Vogue fumed.

“We get there and we figure out that one of them was the buggy and we were like, ‘Okay, we can survive without the buggy, now I just hope it's one of our bags. Just please, whatever it is, don't be the kids’ bags.’

“We land and it was the kids’ bag. Honestly, they had absolutely everything in that bag.

“I had one extra outfit because I always fly with an extra outfit for them and that was it.

The Howth native added that things only got worse when they landed in Spain, adding that she was left with a “stinking attitude” after the ordeal.

She continued: “So, we get off the plane and they're very unhelpful in Gibraltar, just a nightmare.

“Then we had to contact the airline who were very unhelpful also and it was just sh*t. A sh*t start to the whole thing.

“We get our bags back and they say, ‘Do you know why this bag was taken off the plane? Because it was too heavy.’

“It was 18 kilos, we were allowed 23!”
