“Sitting in actual awe at present. Can’t quite describe it,” he wrote on social media.
“Last week, Saturday, the first day Ireland became free from restriction, and also coincidentally the anniversary of the late Arthur Guinness, @forgedirishstout outsold Guinness on premise for the first time. And everyday since!
“@forgedirishstout is now the clear leader in Stout sales for us! All of us in this industry know, for a Stout to do this is just unprecedented! Incredible!
“The fact it happened for the first time on that day in particular, I feel it a sign that I am on the right path here with all of this!
“Onwards and upwards we go!
"For my fighting fans, I want to say I know I am enjoying myself with my liquid, but very soon I will be immersing my self in full training again with complete abstention from my wonderful creations of Spirit and Ale. Just 5 more minutes Ma.”

The stout is available in the Black Forge Inn, which McGregor bought for €2 million two years ago.
This week, Conor McGregor treated his fiancée Dee Devlin to a €15,000 shopping spree.
The Notorious and his longtime love have been together since 2008 and share three children together: Conor Jr, Croía, and baby Rían.
Taking to Instagram, Dee showed off some of her luxurious designer gifts while wearing a purple Balenciaga sweater.
In total, the haul came to a hefty total of around €14,769.
The mum-of-three posted photos of a maroon Chanel bag worth $5,700 (approximately €5,106), a silver Chanel watch with a frame of crystals that cost a whopping $9,750 (€8,734), and a pair of highly sought after pink and white Louis Vuitton trainers that are being sold for £775 (€929).

It comes after Dee declared her love for her Dublin “babe” in a sweet Instagram post.
She posted a loving picture of the couple, together with the caption: “You have created magic babe, I am in awe of you.”
In another post, taken inside McGregor’s Black Forge Inn pub in Crumlin, she shared some snaps of the pair cosying up to each other and wrote: “My everything, OMG I love you babe.”
The UFC star shared his own version of the photos over on his Instagram account and said: “My soul mate, baby I love you.”
The couple, who have been together since before Conor rose to the top in the UFC world, announced their engagement in August of 2020.
Speculation has been rising that the loved-up couple could be set to tie the knot later this year.
After a busy 2021 saw McGregor lose twice in UFC action to Dustin Poirier and suffer a horror leg break in their July bout, the Dubliner is gearing up for a return to the cage around summertime.
And depending on who he faces and what's next in line, he and Dee may set aside some time to get hitched.
