Back in November they debuted their romance on the Red Carpet at the 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala.
The Irish actor, who became a household name in 2020 after starring as Connell Waldron in the TV adaptation of Normal People, has been linked to the 27-year-old singer since last summer, when they were spotted grabbing brunch together at a café in Kinsale, Co Cork.

Months after Paul and Phoebe went for brunch in Kinsale, the pair were spotted at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in England where onlookers told the Mail On Sunday that they were “all over each other.”
Paul has even appeared in the music video for Phoebe’s song ‘Savior Complex’, which was directed by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The video was shared on Phoebe’s official Facebook page, just days after Paul finally revealed that he had a girlfriend.
During an interview with GQ in November, the Kildare native described his girlfriend as a “lifesaver” but refused to name her.
The lovebirds were also pictured together earlier this year after Paul snapped up a BAFTA award for his role in Normal People.
A hilarious photo of the pair posing with Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan and Canadian comedian Mae Martin at a BAFTAs after party went viral in June after fans joked that it looked like the celebrities were attending their Debs.
One user took to Twitter to write: “Mescal looks like he’s at the debs circa 1997 and brought a lad with his spare ticket cos he’s sound and rented the tux and will shortly open the top three buttons.”
Nicola was quick to get in on the joke and added: “Yes look I agree this has huge Debs energy.”
Paul is set to make his feature film debut in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter, which lands on Netflix later this month on December 31.

While Maynooth native Paul resides in London, girlfriend Phoebe lives in LA.
The Grammy nominee previously dated fellow singer Ryan Adams. Along with several other women, she accused her ex of emotional abuse in a report by The New York Times. She also previously dated her band’s touring drummer Marshall Vore.
Paul was previously linked to Normal People co-star India Mullen. Despite paparazzi pictures of the pair, who were once roommates, holding hands, they have denied the romance.
