Living in McDreamland Patrick Dempsey 'loving his time in Ireland' while filming Disney's Disenchanted

Actor Patrick Dempsey has said that he’s been loving his time in Ireland and is having “so much fun” filming Disenchanted.

The former Grey’s Anatomy star and Hollywood actress Amy Adams have been on the Emerald Isle for a few weeks now and have just started filming the sequel to Disney’s Enchanted.

Dempsey, known as ‘McDreamy’ to fans for his beloved role in the hospital drama, took to Instagram to share a photo from his trailer where he modelled some stylish eyewear and a woolly jumper from the Aran Island-based Inis Meáin Knitting Company.

The 55-year-old wrote: “I love being in Ireland and I’m having so much fun working on this film #disenchanted.”

Fans flooded the comments section of Dempsey’s photo to tell him that they’re glad he’s enjoying himself in Ireland and expressed their excitement about his upcoming film.

One user wrote: “Hope you’re enjoying the hail stones/sunny weather!!!”

Another fan penned: “Glad you’re enjoying Ireland.”

“I’m so excited for this film!!!” said another.

Patrick has been documenting his stay in Ireland on his Instagram account, posting photos of his adventures and days out sightseeing.

He recently shared a photo in Dublin formalwear and suit shop, Louis Copeland & Sons, posing for a photo with the owner.

Both men looked dapper and delighted in their smart clothes in the post Patrick shared to his 6.2 million followers.

“Great morning at Louis Copeland & Sons! Dublin,” he wrote.

The Maine native has also revealed that he had been staying with Coleraine-based businesswoman Olivia Burns for two weeks before filming on Disenchanted began and uploaded a hilarious selfie with her now-famous donkey Neddy.

Meanwhile, his co-star Amy Adams has been enjoying some sights in the capital and recently paid a visit to the National Gallery with her daughter Aviana for her 11th birthday.

She also posted a video to Instagram where she announced that she was “very excited” about being in Ireland.

“I am in Ireland where I am getting ready to start filming on the sequel to Enchanted, which I am very excited about,” the Oscar nominee said.
