Michelle Heaton has shown that she is on the road to recovery with a post of her drinking mocktails following her stint in rehab.

The former Liberty X singer (41) recently returned home to her husband Hugh and children after spending a month in a rehabilitation facility for drug and alcohol addiction.

Now that she’s finally back with Hugh and their kids Faith (9) and AJ (7), Michelle has completely transformed and is thriving.

The pair smiled as they sipped on some homemade mocktails together in matching glasses.

She captioned the post with simple hashtags: “#mocktails #igotthis.”

Michelle’s followers were touched by her update and many praised her in the comments section.

One user wrote: “Admire you coming through such a hard and tough time well done.”

Another penned: “Amazing, and look at the way your daughter is looking at you. Such love in her eyes and pride. Well done you.”

Others offered their own words of encouragement and thanked the former singer for her bravery.

One follower said: “Can I just say as a mum of a 6 yr old boy who struggled with alcohol for 10+ years you have no idea how many people you’re unknowingly helping being so transparent.

“I’ve been sober 2.5 years now and have been right there in those early days they are HARD mama and the days and months that follow will be too.

“However I can hand on heart sit here 2.5 years down the line and say I promise you it’s not always hard and they get easier.

“Make sure you are proud of yourself each day x x,” they continued.

Michelle’s post comes after she admitted that she was “close to death” before checking in to a rehabilitation facility, and would have cocaine cocaine binges that saw her consume “a gram a night.”

She was encouraged to seek help when her close pal Katie Price staged an intervention and booked her into rehab in April.
