Maura Higgins stole the show on the red carpet at last night’s Pride of Britain Awards.

Hosted by Carol Vorderman and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo, the awards ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London honoured some of the bravest and best Britons over the past year.

Winners this year include Hughie Higginson (10) and Freddie Xavi (11), who raised more than £200,000 after Hughie was diagnosed with leukaemia.

They were celebrated by a host of celebrities attending the awards, including former Love Island star Maura Higgins, who arrived on the red carpet fresh from her breakup with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice.

The Longford native stunned in a sparkling silver halterneck dress embellished with stones and crystals from Kosovo designer Albina Dyla.

She paired the show-stopping dress, which retails for €1,700, with some matching glittering gloves while her hair was pinned in a 1920s finger wave hairstyle.

The Irish TV personality sported a sultry makeup look with a smokey eye and daring red lipstick as she joined stars such as her Love Island best friend Molly-Mae Hague, Holly Willoughby, and Vicky Pattinson at the annual event.

Sharing a photo of her gorgeous look on her Instagram page, Maura wrote: “A special night at Pride of Britain

“Wearing my new collection @bellamianta. Dress @albinadylaofficial”

Fans and followers flocked to the comments section to compliment the 30-year-old's glam look, with best pal Molly-Mae leading the messages of support.

“You looked unbelievable,” the 22-year-old wrote.
