Maura Higgins’ ex boyfriend Giovanni Pernice was reportedly spotted kissing actor Emily Atack on Tuesday night at the BRITs afterparty.

According to The Sun, the pair were all over one another while partying at The Box nightclub in London.

“Gio and Emily were snogging the faces off each other. Their hands were everywhere and they were absolutely loving it,” an insider told the publication.

“He had been following her around the club and joined her on Maya Jama’s private table.”

“Before long he had his arms draped over her on the dance floor where they kissed, and then held hands outside in the smoking area.”

“There were also loads of raunchy performers on stage which they watched while cosying up together. It was more than flirty,” they said.

Maura was also in attendance at the event and partied after hours arriving back to her hotel after 4am.

The Strictly Come Dancing star split from model Maura in October to concentrate on the BBC dance competition.

In a statement, he said: “Hey guys - I hope everyone had a great Monday,” he posted on Instagram.

“Going into another wonderful training week - thank you so much for your amazing messages and your support this weekend. I get to live my dream every single day because of you - so thank you, thank you, thank you. I wanted to say a couple of things…”

“Firstly, great relationships with great people can come to a natural end. This has been the case for me recently. There was absolutely no wrong-doing and this should be the end of any speculation,” he said of their split.

“Whilst I respect and understand interest in my personal life, wouldn't it be fantastic to instead use this space to raise awareness of subjects and issues which need the attention.”

My eyes have been opened to so many things during my career. But I am learning so much from this series of Strictly.”

“The show has highlighted many important conversations for different communities and increased representation,” he said, speaking about his celebrity dance partner Rose Ayling, who was the show’s first deaf contestant.

“These are the conversations which deserve the time, energy and recognition. We must concentrate on what's important and how we can all make a difference in life,” he concluded.

Giovanni then went on to win the show with his celebrity dance partner Rose Ayling.

Emily Atack was most recently linked to footballer Jack Grealish after the pair struck up a friendship.

A source reportedly told the Sun: “Emily watched Jack in the Euros and thought he was fit. And for his part, Jack has been a fan of hers since she starred as Charlotte 'Big Jugs' Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners.”

It's claimed the pair who met on Instagram had been texting and chatting for weeks.

“They started DMing on Instagram before swapping numbers, and taking it on to WhatsApp and FaceTime," claimed the source.

“They've become really good mates, FaceTiming loads and he's like a little puppy dog around her. They have a real laugh together.”

Emily, who rose to fame on Channel 4 sitcom The Inbetweeners, split from her most recent boyfriend Jude Taylor back in August.

“I am single. Being single isn’t always a happy thing, but I definitely think it isn’t a bad thing and it shouldn’t be seen as something that’s shameful if you’re in your 30s and single,” she said.

“As I say, being single isn’t always great, but sometimes it’s really great. So yeah, I’m fine.”
