The Love Island presenter took to Instagram to share a snap of her bundle of joy
Laura Whitmore has shared the first photo of her baby girl and said that she is “in love” with her newborn.
The 35-year-old welcomed her first child with husband and comedian Iain Stirling earlier this week, following her absence from her BBC radio show on Sunday.
The Love Island presenter took to Instagram to share a snap of her bundle of joy, posting a photo of her little girl wrapped up in a swaddle blanket at her chest.
Laura gushed in the caption: “Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love x”

Irish comedian Jarlath Regan also congratulated his pal: “Super congratulations you legend Laura. Hope you’re basking in the glow. Big virtual hugs.”
Laura and Iain first started dating in 2017 and got married in Dublin City Hall last November, confirming their wedding on New Year’s Day with an Instagram post.
Bray-born Laura had previously confirmed that she would be having a baby girl in her Sunday Times bestseller ‘No One Can Change Your Life Except You.’
In her book, she wrote: “There’s a new chapter coming in my life in the form of a baby girl currently growing inside me.
“And that scares the s*it out of me. I once swallowed a fly and was freaked out that there was a live bug inside me. A little live human is a whole new level of freaking out. But I’m excited.
"Because there is a lot of good in the world, there is a lot of potential and I want to bring up a child knowing that she has her own story to write.”
She added: “She will be supported and loved but she is the heroine of her own life, no-one else.”
