Kilkenny hurler Paul Murphy and his partner Eadaoin Ryan rounded off the year with a New stunning wedding in the five-star Ashley Park House in Nenagh, Co Tipperary. 

The couple they tied the knot just after Christmas in the company of Paul's fellow GAA stars as well as friends and family of both.

Paul, who is also an Army Lieutenant, captured his big day in a series of pictures from the ceremony on Instagram.

In one, the couple are seen holding hands and beaming with pride at the top of the alter as family and friends watch on.

The short and sweet caption refers to the date of his marriage: '28-12-21’

Fellow Kilkenny Cat Conor Fogarty also helped the happy couple ring in their big day and in a series of snaps on Instagram he seen enjoying a pint of the black stuff with the man of the hour and another guest.

In another image snapped front of a Christmas tree he is seen with Orla Ryan who sparkled on the night in a shimmering black lace jumpsuit.

One of his groomsman, Ray Coady, also marked the happy occasion by tweeting a snap of Paul with all his groomsmen.

Also on the guest list was retired champion hurler Richie Hogan who also tied the knot with his long-time love Anne Ryan in an intimate Tipperary ceremony only recently.

Colin Fennelly and his girlfriend Aliyah McCarthy, Cillian Buckley and his fiancée Niamh Dowling and Walter Walsh and his girlfriend Vicky Holden were all in attendance.
