Katie Price paid more than £7,000 in court fines “in full” hours before she was arrested for allegedly breaching her restraining order last week.

The reality star (43) paid £7,358 (approximately €8,776) for a series of fines she had acquired for a number of offences since 2019, The Sun reports.

She was facing possible prison time for failing to pay the fines but coughed up the cash on Friday just hours before she was arrested for allegedly sending an abusive text to her ex Kieran Hayler and his fiancée Michelle Penticost.

The text is said to breach a restraining order that was imposed on Katie in 2019 after she called Michelle a “f***ing c**t” during a confrontation at school gates.

She was forbidden for five years from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly.”

Katie had described the court drama as “exaggerated nonsense” and wasn't sorry because she “didn't do anything that bad” but she later pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Horsham Magistrates Court.

Breaching the order carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.

The former model was seen being driven away from Worthing police station in a Mercedes on Saturday, after being quizzed by cops who had picked her up at her home in Horsham at 5.45pm on Friday.

She was seen in the £35,000 Mercedes AMG being driven away by her fiancé Carl Woods after he picked her up at the station.

Katie is on a 16-week suspended sentence for drink driving after crashing her car while intoxicated back in September.

Katie was driving to see a pal because she was "lonely" when she overturned her BMW in Horsham, West Sussex, in September.
