Jodi Albert has said that marrying Westlife star Kian Egan was the “best decision” she’s ever made.

The former Hollyoaks actress and her popstar husband tied the knot in May 2009 with a ceremony on the stunning island of Barbados.

Taking to Instagram earlier today, Jodi explained that she had been reminiscing about her big day and decided to post a throwback photo from her wedding week 12 years ago.

In the photo, the 38-year-old was splashing some water by the pool overlooking the ocean as she dazzled in a colourful bikini and some oversized shades.

And she made sure to remind Kian that she loves him in the photo’s caption by tagging the Sligo native and telling him that marrying him was one of her better choices in life.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “Mood. Found this lil throwback pic from my wedding week… #happywildandfree #alwaysandforever

“@kianegan love you best decision I ever made!”

Friends and followers alike flocked to the comments section to compliment Jodi’s post.

One user wrote: “What a beautiful picture so stunning.”

Another said that she's glad that Jodi and Kian would stay together after all these years, writing: “I remember reading an article in Fate and Fortune Magazine or one of those ones years ago and the fortune teller in it said that you and Kian were soul mates and meant to be together.

“This was before you got married. So there ya go lol. P.s I'm not a weirdo I promise.”

Kian and Jodi are the proud parents of three boys – Koa (9), Zekey (6), and Cobi, who will turn 4-years-old at the end of this month.
