Graham Norton is set to host a new show by the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Queen of the Universe is a new unscripted Eurovision-style drag queen singing competition brought to life by World of Wonder, the production company behind the successful Drag Race format.

Early promotional materials for the show promised: “High heels, high octaves, high competition - this drag queen singing competition will blow your wig off.”

Cork native Graham Norton is no stranger to the fabulous world of drag, having appeared as a regular judge on the UK edition of Drag Race since 2019 alongside RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Alan Carr.

The popular talk show personality also hosts the UK broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest each year since 2009.

Queen of the Universe will be one of Graham’s most high-profile international hosting gigs to date, aside from his BBC comedy chat show The Graham Norton Show.

The new project, which was first revealed in February during ViacomCBS’s investor day presentation, will premiere on the company’s streaming service Paramount Plus on December 2nd.
