RONAN Keating has admitted his own kids don’t listen to his music.

The 43-year-old singer is a father of five children from two different relationships, but he has said the three older children he had with Yvonne Connolly prefer to tune music that’s not his.

“They’re all amazing,” he stresses. “I just love spending time with them and now my son (Jack) is 21, we have the best chats about life and music together.

“My kids think I am cool, but they don’t sit around listening to my songs all day. They prefer a bit of urban and hop-hop.”

Luckily he maintains that his wife is not only an “incredible mum” but “by far my biggest fan”.

Dubliner Ronan co-hosts a morning radio show on weekdays on Magic FM in England, and has to get up at 5am to present the breakfast programme.

“I am constantly knackered,” he complains.

But he is happy lockdown has enabled him to spend more time with Storm (38) and their two children, Cooper (3) and baby Coco.

“Being able to focus on our new child together – be there for baths, feeds and happy changes – was a blessing,” says the former Boyzone star, who is celebrating 20 years as a solo artist with a new album Twenty Twenty.

“It was a very special time for me to be in the same place for such a long amount of time.”
