Conor McGregor has been dismissed as a “small fragile dude” by UFC rival Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal had beaten Nate Diaz, Ben Askren and Darren Till before he suffered a massive KO at the hands of ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, Kamaru Usman.

In an interview with MMA Junkie about what’s next for him, Masvidal said he is only interested in getting back into title contention at 170 lbs.

“The guy that gets me the closest and the fastest to the title bout (is who I want to fight next),” he said.

When asked directly about McGregor, Masvidal dismissed the Irishman.

“I’m full man size. He’s like a very small, fragile dude. He don’t want that. You can’t pay that man enough money, so that one’s OK. Don’t need it.”

Last month Masvidal’s manager Malki Kawa revealed that by UFC President Dana White has never been a fan of a potential Masvidal vs. McGregor fight because “Masvidal is too big for him.”

McGregor has fought in the UFC at featherweight and welterweight and most recently, at lightweight, when he was defeated by Dustin Poirier.

McGregor took two losses to ‘The Diamond’ this year, dropping his record against the Louisianian to 1-2.

Before those two losses to Poirier, McGregor beat Donald Cerrone. That fight, in January 2020, was McGregor’s first bout since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov for the title in October 2018.

McGregor is currently recovering in the US from the broken leg suffered in his second loss to Poirier.

Conor left a cheeky comment, “Come to daddy” under the picture.

Dee recently shared photos online of her and Conor’s third child Rian, was born in May, as he turns three months old.

Commenting on her Instagram post, Dee said: "3 months of loving this little guy."

UFC star McGregor added: "My little champion breed."

The former two-weight champion is facing a year on the sidelines, although he said last week that his leg was "doing good".

"We're recovering,” he told TMX. “We're recovering, sir.

"That's what we're doing. And it's gonna be some recovery. It's gonna be some recovery.

"It's doing good, it's doing good. Three weeks, three days, it's been good."
