Conor McGregor has shared some snaps from an “incredible night” at The Black Forge Inn.

The UFC star bought the pub last year for a reported €2 million and spent a further €1 million on renovations ahead of its reopening in July.

He stopped by The Black Forge Inn with his partner Dee Devlin over the Bank Holiday weekend for the first time since it reopened after his prolonged stay in the United States following a leg injury attained during his UFC trilogy fight against Dustin Poirer this summer.

At the venue, McGregor met up with his sister Aoife and mother Margaret for a night out after celebrating his son Rian's christening in the Vatican last week.

Sharing some photos from his pub excursion – including a scrumptious carvery dinner and a photo of a wall dedicated to his Proper No. Twelve whiskey – the Notorious wrote: “One of the best day and nights on premise yet, @theblackforgeinn.

“Absolutely incredible night, thank you all so much! We can’t wait to see you all again soon. #wearetheblackforgeireland”

And his sister Aoife added: “Great night great people️ best place around.”

McGregor also plugged his own “Forged Stout” on his Instagram page by posting a photo holding a pint and saying: “Extremely impressed with my “Forged Stout” from the @theblackforgeinn!

“I urge all stout lovers to try this! 30 cent cheaper a pint than Guinness on premise. For this quality a stout, that price difference is astronomical. I’m on it all weekend with my whiskey. A really nice stout.

“My own black and white Irish cream! Wow! Who knows Arthur, who knows..”
