Cher (76) sparks rumours she’s engaged to 36-year-old music producer boyfriend

The Believe singer, 76, confirmed her romance with the music producer just two months ago after the pair were spotted holding hands while enjoying a dinner date.

And it seems like the loved-up couple are taking their relationship to the next stage with the Strong Enough songstress seeming to imply Alexander had popped the question.

The music icon shared a picture of a sparkly ring with a teardrop stone in a plush black box on Christmas Day, captioning the post: ‘THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER, A.E.’

Cher’s fans rushed to ‘congratulate’ the star, with one penning: ‘Wowsers, congratulations babe xxxxx.’

‘OMG did he propose to you!!!?? Mama lovely,’ a follower asked, while another cheekily asked: ‘A wedding can I come please xo john gorgeous ring.’

Another added: ‘Wait wait wait hold uppp!! Is that a diamond ring or a ring with diamonds???? What does it meeeaaaan?????????’

Many others commented on how ‘beautiful’ the bling was and extended their Christmas best wishes to the Burlesque actor and her beau.

Cher previously confirmed their blossoming romance on Twitter after sharing a snap of Alexander and a heart emoji.

A fan then enquired if he was her ‘new man’ to which the Mamma Mia! Here W Go Again! star responded with another heart emoji.

However, one concerned follower replied: ‘I’m not sure how I feel about this. I’ve been a fan for so long that I’m immediately suspicious of his intentions towards you. WE know you are fabulous and I’m sure your inner circle will continue to have your back. Want you to be happy, but not taken advantage of!!!’

Assuring the fan that there’s nothing to worry about, Cher responded: ‘As we All Know …I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance.I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am [sic].’

Alexander is the ex of model and TV personality Amber Rose, 39, and they share three-year-old son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.

Amber accused her former partner of cheating multiple times and having affairs with 12 different people on her Instagram story in August. He later confessed to being unfaithful.

As for Cher, the vocal powerhouse has been married twice before, firstly to Sonny Bono, who died in 1998, and with whom she shares son Chaz Bono, 53.

She then married late singer Gregg Allman, and had a child named Elijah Blue Allman, 46.
