This is what €3.1m gets you when you spend it on a Lamborghini yacht like the one bought by Conor McGregor.

The 63-foot long Lamborghini Technomar which is nicknamed the “supercar of the sea” is a 4,000-horsepower yacht.

Its pair of V12 engines that weigh 24 tons can power it though the water at speeds of up to 60 knots or nearly 70 miles-per-hour.

The Technomar ‘superboat’ is a limited edition creation that comes custom fitted with kitchen appliances, a dining area, a bedroom and bathroom underneath, as well as many other features you’d expect for that price tag.

It is understood the luxury car manufacturer is only manufacturing 63 of the yachts — the 12th of which McGregor purchased, a nod to his whiskey brand Proper No 12.

The new yacht is also painted a shade of green similar to the bottles used for McGregor’s Proper No 12 whiskey, which is a big part of how he reached the top of the Forbes’ highest paid athletes list in 2021.

A day before McGregor received his new yacht, he sneered at anybody criticising him in the wake of his second consecutive loss to Dustin Poirier after he suffered a broken leg at the end of the first round in their trilogy fight.

“I wipe my rich ass with your feelings about my work,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “I feel nothing for you bums.”

Conor previously referred to the 63-foot, 4000bhp, dual engine, twin turbo, “rocket ship” that he has called the “Supercar of the Sea” as the best purchase he has ever made.

“I am honoured to secure the Number 12 edition of just 63 to be made,” he revealed on Instagram last year. “1963 being the year Lamborghini first began, and 12 being, well you know Twelve!

“Proper F***King Twelve baby! Ain’t no stopping it! @properwhiskey

"Thank you Giuseppe Constantino and the entire team at “The Italian Sea Group” for your amazing work! Excited to see the finished result during next seasons yachting season.”

When later asked by MMA journalist, Aaron Bronsteter, what was the best purchase he ever made, McGregor said: “I would say my Lamborghini yacht.

“It's currently in Italy at the minute. It's ready for post-fight. I've a bit of work to be done after this bout, across the United States, and then I go to Italy. I'm going to christen my son in Italy with the family and some friends, and then I'm going to pick up my Lamborghini yacht.

“It's some vessel so I'm really excited to get into it and rally it around. I look forward to setting records on it also."

It would appear that McGregor who made over €19.4m from his five-minute clash with Dustin Poirier, could well afford the yacht.

With the fight over in just five minutes it means the Dubliner was paid just under €4million for each minute he was in the Octagon
